On the evening before St. Patrick’s Day, a packed house at Summer Place in Lakewood gathered to celebrate as Gerry Quinn was honored with the Icon of Audio Award. Gerry has been on the radio for over 45 years and has earned numerous awards. He only agreed to accept this latest honor because of the two causes it would support – Awakening Angels and Cleveland Right to Life.

WHK’s Tim Vaughn introduced radio host Tom Kelly who, along with Gerry’s son Kevin Quinn, presented the award to Gerry. Ambassador Ed Crawford was also honored and he gave a few remarks.
