I didn’t plan on seeing any of the Cleveland National Air Show this year because I had several other events over the Labor Day weekend. The 2026 Cleveland National Air Show took place September 5,6,7, 2026 at Burke Lakefront Airport, featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the USAF F-22 Raptor Demo Team, NextGen Eagles, Kyle Fowler, RJ Gritter, and more. I try to get there every year – it’s amazing – but couldn’t this year.
But as I drove down the Shoreway on my way to an event I saw a bi-plane doing loops and regretted not getting there. Fortunately, one of my events was the Cleveland Taco Festival at Jacob’s Pavilion on the West bank of the Flats. It gave a great view of some of the action and I captured these shots. Next year I will make sure I am at Burke Airport for the show. It is incredible.
