Heritage Park at Progressive Field is the home of the Guardians Hall of Fame and other exhibits honoring the franchise’s rich history. It opened on Opening Day 2007.
Located in the center field area of Progressive Field, Heritage Park hosts the Guardians Hall of Fame, paying tribute to the greatest players in franchise history. One level is dedicated to players that are also inducted in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, with the other dedicated to other Guardians icons and exhibits.
We look at the statue of player/manager Frank Robinson, the first African-American manager of a major league team, as well as plaques honoring players such as Cy Young, Tris Speaker, Larry Doby, Satchel Page, Nap Lajoie, Bob Feller, Early Winn, Jim Thome, Lou Boudreau, Bob Lemon, Earl Averill, Elmer Flick, Stan Coveleski, Gaylord Perry, Joe Sewell, Joe Gordon, Al Lopez, Addie Joss and Jesse Burkett.
