The 2025 Cleveland Auto Show at the IX Center delivered a dynamic look at the present future of driving, with electric vehicles spanning a range of styles and innovations. Automakers from America, Europe, and Asia (with a strong showing from South Korean brands) brought production-ready EVs that highlight today’s cutting-edge technology. Notably, while Tesla chose not to host a traditional showroom display, attendees could test drive the Cybertruck, Model 3, Model S, Model X, and Model Y in the outdoor Ride-and-Drive area. In addition, Chrysler drew attention with its All Electric Halcyon Concept Car, a glimpse into tomorrow’s design and technology—even as our focus remains on vehicles currently available to consumers.

American EVs

American manufacturers showcased bold designs and performance credentials:

  • Cadillac Series:

    • Cadillac VISTIQ – Priced at about $79,995, this innovative model features a dual-motor setup (estimated at around 400kW total), a 95kWh battery, and a projected range of roughly 265 miles.
    • Cadillac OPTIQ – Starting at around $89,995, it builds on the VISTIQ’s promise with a larger 105kWh battery and an estimated range of 285 miles.
    • Cadillac Escalade IQ – As the flagship luxury SUV, the Escalade IQ commands a premium price of about $129,995, pairing a 120kWh battery with an expected 310-mile range.

Ford Mustang MACH-E – Carrying the iconic Mustang name into the EV era, the MACH-E is priced at roughly $55,585 and features a 91kWh battery that delivers an estimated 300-mile range.


  • GMC Lineup:

    • Sierra EV Denali – This robust electric pickup is listed at $101,285 with a dual-motor system and a sizable 122kWh battery, offering around 300 miles of range.

Hummer EV – With a striking design and bold styling, the Hummer EV is priced at about $100,835 and provides an impressive 318-mile range, thanks to its dual-motor setup.

Chevy Blazer EV – Versatility meets performance in the Blazer EV, available from $45,995 to $62,490. Its powerful 595HP motor and 85kWh battery deliver an estimated range of 265 miles.

  • Tesla Ride-and-Drive Experience:
     Although absent from the traditional showroom, Tesla made its presence known in the outdoor test-drive area—offering drivers the chance to experience the futuristic Cybertruck, along with the popular Model 3, Model S, Model X, and Model Y.

Chrysler All Electric Halcyon:
Chrysler also made a splash with its All Electric Halcyon Concept Car. This futuristic display captured the imagination of the show’s attendees with several standout features.

  • Tesla Ride-and-Drive Experience:
     Although absent from the traditional showroom, Tesla made its presence known in the outdoor test-drive area—offering drivers the chance to experience the futuristic Cybertruck, along with the popular Model 3, Model S, Model X, and Model Y.

European EVs

European automakers combined performance, luxury, and advanced engineering:

  • Porsche Taycan 4S – This high-performance sedan, priced at $146,545, is powered by a 440kW (590HP) motor and a 105kWh battery, providing an EPA-estimated range of 295 miles.

  • BMW Models:

    • BMW i7 xDrive60 – At $124,200, this flagship sedan features a potent engine (approximately 536HP) paired with a 101kWh battery, delivering around 300 miles of range.

BMW i4 M50 – Priced at $70,700, it offers similar performance (also 536HP) with an 83kWh battery for an estimated 245-mile range.

Audi Q4 55 e-tron quattro – With a starting price of $62,775, this compact electric SUV employs a dual-motor system and an 82kWh battery, yielding a range of roughly 258 miles.


Volvo EX30 Twin Motor – This Swedish compact SUV is attractively priced at $38,995. Its dual-motor configuration and 75kWh battery provide a projected range of 260 miles.


Fiat 500 EV – An affordable urban option from Italy, the Fiat 500 EV is priced at $34,095, equipped with a 400V motor system and a 42kWh battery for a range of about 141 miles.

VW ID Buzz – Reviving a classic name with modern technology, the VW ID Buzz is offered at $67,927. It features a single-motor setup with a 91kWh battery that delivers an estimated 234-mile range.

Japanese EVs

Among the Asian Automaker entries, Honda had a single debut:

Honda Prologue EX – Marking Honda’s venture into electric mobility, the Prologue EX is priced at $52,250. With a dual-motor configuration and an 85kWh battery, it offers an EPA-estimated range of 281 miles.


South Korean Automakers

South Korean brands had a strong EV showing, showcasing innovation and performance:

Genesis GV70 Prestige – Priced at $76,240, this luxury model sports a split power setup (160kW front/160kW rear) with a 77.4kWh battery, offering a range of approximately 236 miles.

  • Hyundai Ioniq 5 N – With an impressive 448kW (601HP) motor, this performance-oriented model is priced at $68,400 and features a 77.4kWh battery with an estimated 220-mile range.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 – Offering sleek design and efficiency, the Ioniq 6 is available between $37,850 and $56,020. With configurations likely including an 82kWh battery and dual-motor power (around 350HP), it delivers a range between 240 and 342 miles.

Kia EV6 GT – Versatile and stylish, the EV6 GT is priced from $42,600 to $61,600. It features a single 225HP motor, with battery options ranging from 58kWh to 77.4kWh that provide an estimated 252-mile range.
